KAMY OCAMPO
Andrés Camilo Ocampo Rincón (Bogotá, Colombia; November 20, 1990), artistically known as Kamy Ocampo, is a talented Colombian musician, singer, producer, and songwriter. Raised in Bogotá in a family of musicians, Kamy began his musical career at the age of 8 accompanying his father, Jairo Orlando Ocampo Arismendi, in his classic salsa orchestra. From a young age, Kamy stood out in school musical events and joined the Colombian Youth Symphony Orchestra (OSJC). At 15, he studied gastronomy and piano simultaneously in Bogotá, and at 18, he joined various local bands playing piano, guitar, and percussion. In 2012, he began studying Latin percussion at the Superior Academy of Arts of Bogotá (ASAB) and later worked in an events company, which allowed him to set up his own home studio. With experience in musical productions for theaters and artists, Kamy joined Los 50 de Joselito in 2016 as the lead vocalist.
